Liam and Mandy hoped for a very natural look to their flowers during the day and something a little more glamorous for the evening. The delicate simplicity of cosmos lent itself to this and I knew just the right local grower to source it from. A combination of this with astrantia, roses, senecio, cow parsley and eucalyptus fronds gave just the right balance for a relaxed look.

We discussed the possibility of mix matching vessels for the table decorations which meant I could pull out all my favourite props that I had collected over the years and it kept an air of informality whilst letting the flowers breathe.table decoration 1

For the evening we decided on a magenta pink colour scheme for the flowers. On every other table we suspended pompoms of these from white branches in pewter toned curvaceous vases.

Branches dripping with hanging orchids, glass beads and a carpet of candles in an array of lanterns and glass vessels gave a soft atmosphere to the party room.evening reception flowers
