Liam and Mandy’s wedding, Prestonfield, Edinburgh
Liam and Mandy hoped for a very natural look to their flowers during the day and something a little more glamorous for the evening. The delicate simplicity of cosmos lent itself to this and I knew just the right local grower to source it from. A combination of this with astrantia, roses, senecio, cow parsley and eucalyptus fronds gave just the right balance for a relaxed look.
We discussed the possibility of mix matching vessels for the table decorations which meant I could pull out all my favourite props that I had collected over the years and it kept an air of informality whilst letting the flowers breathe.
For the evening we decided on a magenta pink colour scheme for the flowers. On every other table we suspended pompoms of these from white branches in pewter toned curvaceous vases.
